Chemistry
The chemistry unit will open the world to the most basic model that all living things are made up of, the atom. Students will explore the make up of an atom (protons, neutrons and electrons), as well as understand the basic concepts of the organization of the periodic table.
Having an understanding of how our bodies are balanced based on the smallest components such as atoms will set the stage for our future units that deal with body systems.
